Drew & Lee's Commitment Ceremony

On Friday 16th January 2004 my partner Lee and I were married in a civil service in the presence of 70 family and friends. The decision to get married was made in 2002 and announced to family and friend's at Drew's 30th Birthday celebrations.

By this time we had been topgether for a few years already and we knew thaty we wanted to be together for our lives and had already made that commitment to each other. But we wanted to share with our friends and families just how important and special our relationship is.

After much discussion and thought, we decided that a civil commitment ceremony was appropriate for us and would help us sum up exactly what we wanted to achieve.
