Hello, first off I want to apologize for the lack of updates on the story. But I wanted to inform you, that unfortunately, I cannot continue it.
Early in June, Tanner was involved in a car accident. His car was hit by a truck and both he and the other man were hospitalized. Tanner was unconcious for about a week, but because of the intensity of his injuries he didnt come through. It's been hard on many others besides myself. And even Tommy has shared the loss. Needless to say that writing the story isnt the happiest or best way to spend my time. I've had a friend tell me that keeping More Than Friends going would help to keep the memory and nature of Tanner around. But the nature and content of the story are not how I would have him to be remembered.
Tanner was a beautiful person, inside and out, though the inside was rarely shown. I'm glad I'm the person who got to see it most often. I wish I would have put so many things in the story to make known the things I love about him.
I dont want to exploit what has happened to Tanner in any way. But I was wondering if it would be possible to let the readers know about this. I've gotten so many awesome e-mails and messages from them, I would hate to just leave them in the dark. I feel they have some right to know, even without knowing Tanner at all.
Thanks for everything, for giving me a chance to put part of my life out there, for letting people know that someone like Tanner was here.
Maybe one of these days I'll have another story, fictitious maybe.
