A voice in the dark,

Like a light in the night,

But you are more than that,

Though your body is unknown to me,

I can feel you,

All around me,

Your bright, shining beauty,

Surrounding me, warming me,

Through wires and WiFi you send love,

But it’s love all the same,

Through blackest night,

And impassible terrain,

The sweet sound of your voice is unknown to me,

But we are friends, brothers, so much more than that,

A voice in the dark,

Like a light in the night,

A distant sun,

Shining your light on me despite the space between,

Your radiant smile is burning into my soul forever,

And your face is locked deep in my heart.
