Don't Blame Me for the Delay
I know that it's been over a week since I last posted here, and a few people ahve emailed me to ask me what I have been up to. WEll the big news is that I had my Birthday and had a couple of days away with Lee, we spent some time up in the Hunter Valley just the two of us. Time spent together with Lee is always something I treasure and I adore him so very much. Each day I spend with him is just more and more exciting, rewarding and tells me just how much I love him.
Anyway enough of the sappy stuff!
Apart from my birthday which was great (even though I don't feel any older) I am now heading off to Darwin for a week, and am writing this from a web terminal in Cairns Airport. I have another three hours till my next flight and this place is boring as. The locals however seem friendly and there is much confusion and excitement in the terminal as people leave to go to all sorts of exciting places.
Lee said something yesterday that made me think, when people ask how I am or how work is I invariably mention all the travelling I do, maybe because I value my work on the emount of travel do as an expression of my personal and work worth - if that makes sense! The more I travel the more work I think I am doing and th more I feel that either my clients or my company value me. There is also the other aspect that suggests as the more I tarvel the more valuable I ust be to the company, strange thoughts for a warped mind like mine suppose.
I will be writing another chapter of the story this week, and this one should be very exciting as we are getting up to the big weekend of going out parties and suprises. Anyway will post later agin when time permits

Too Many Flights
I seem to spend my life at the moment traipsing from one flight to another going backwards and forwards backwards and forwards. Now that the end of the financial year has been and gone (Australia people) I had to go back through all the flights and itenaries I have had in the last year and make some sort of sense of it all. I usually don't mind doing such mundane things every now and then because it lets me relax and stop stressing my poor brain.
But when I started to actually look at all he time I have wasted on flying, waiting at airports, getting taxis etc I could have been doing something far more interesting like um um writing for instance. These days in flights of less than an hour the cabin nazis won't let you turn on your computer so I end up reading and trying to ignore the morons around me.,
But last night as I waited for my flight which of course was delayed by an hour and a half I had the pleasure of sitting amongst the Australian Institute of Sport's Under 18 Soccer Club. The boys were not my cup of tea, a bit young and a bit green, but boy could they talk and talk and talk. The entire waiting area resounded with boyish laughter and bad jokes, making my head spin and making me want to find a fire hose so I could hose them down and make them shut up. I'm not usually so intolerant but they we're so stupid and loud. One of them even started to walk around the aircraft as it turned on the runway to take off, now that is stupidity extreme!
